About Me
My name is Kaitlyn Torres, I'm a Middle School and High School Art teacher. I graduated in the top of my class at UTD with my Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts in December of 2022.

I've always loved working with kids as a babysitter and as the oldest of six, and have always loved music, so to work with kids through teaching them music is a dream come true!
I have been playing piano for 17 years, and have been trained in voice since 2012. Through those studies I have a strong sense of ability in both technical piano and theory.
I began teaching piano my sophomore year, and this is my 9th year of teaching in Frisco, Texas. I have taught over 60 students in the Frisc0/Mckinney area.

My other hobbies outside of music and piano include visual art media, having won a gold seal in the 2017 VASE competition, theatre as an actor and technical worker (with a school award in Costume Design and Production and a State wide nomination for Costume Design in the 2017 Dallas School Musical Awards), and maintaining other independent work.
