Lesson Curriculum
Faber Piano Adventures Book series is what is typically used in lessons and is recommended, but if parents prefer another piano series lessons can be taught using those as well.
The Faber brand has a wide series from primer (beginner) to focused genres and books for advanced learners, as well as a set of lesson, theory, performance, and genre specific books according to player level. If students have a preference to work mainly on classical, jazz, or another type of genre as they work from the basic lesson book they can be incorporated into lesson plans.
The only required books for each lesson are the Lesson book at the appropriate level, but any additional books and songs bought can be worked from. All lesson books must be purchased by the parents.

Occasionally students will have a chance to work outside the common Faber curriculum and will learn from outside material.

Recitals and Performances
Recitals and performances are dependent upon availability and access to venues and amount of students willing to participate. We attempt to organize recitals 1-2 times per year, and will select particular pieces the students who want to perform feel best showcase their abilities. With each recital a certificate of participation is given. Parents, friends, and family are all welcome and are encouraged to come and take photos and videos of their child/children.

Recitals and performances offer students a chance to showcase their skills and get comfortable with the performing style. They are taught how to formally introduce themselves and their piece, encouraged to wear nice or formal dress, how to bow and work for months on their selected piece. Each student who participates in a recital can present 1-2 pieces of their choice per recital.
